Practical financial coaching for ambitious people with big dreams

I help professionals achieve financial empowerment by building roadmaps that align their money with their goals.

Hi, I’m Barbara!

I’m a financial coach, writer and New Yorker. I help thoughtful people use money as a tool to achieve their dreams and live big lives through 1:1 coaching.

My work is for people who are doing “fine” on paper, but know there’s a gap between what they earn and how secure and confident they actually feel. Together, we clarify your priorities and create a roadmap for your money that reflects your values – and gets you where you want to go.

You’re smart, responsible, and resourceful, but managing money still feels harder than it should.

You’re not sure whether you’re making the right decisions, or you’re stuck revisiting the same questions without real clarity. And while advice is everywhere, very little of it seems designed for your unique life.

You might recognize yourself here:

  • You make decent money, but still feel behind, uncertain, or anxious about the future

  • You’re tired of generic financial advice that ignores nuance, tradeoffs, and real-life constraints

  • You have a pretty good idea of what you should be doing, but translating that into action feels overwhelming

Imagine knowing where your money is going, why it’s going there, and feeling confident that it’s supporting the life you actually want to live – now and in the future.

That’s the work we do.

Get Clarity, Structure & Support

As a certified personal finance coach with a background in financial journalism, I bring both technical knowledge and deep listening to this work. I understand how money decisions intersect with identity, ambition, burnout, and the very real cost of living in New York.

My approach is practical, values-driven, and collaborative. We look at your full financial picture, name what actually matters to you, and build a plan you can sustain, not just start. I’ve been in the place where things “look fine” but don’t feel fine, and I know how powerful it is to finally have clarity, structure, and support.

If you want a grounded, human approach to financial wellness – one that respects your intelligence and your lived experience – you’re in the right place.
